So why is recon absolutely necessary in the last waves?
And would having air recon instead of ground recon limit that? |

well I wouldn't say ABSOLUTELY necessary, but his presence makes a huge difference in game. His designate skill means no need to get laser gar at w14 - target needs to be designated in order to use trinity. He can place flares as well at w13 and w15 when the wave starts, and run back to base before hordes of slashers and fiends catch him.
Taking ground recon would mean saving a lot of roadies since you need to flare at w6, w8-9 and when we reach the beach. Also, the road flare skill can be your next illuminating skill when both flare gun and flare skill has been used.
Well even with that said, the game can still be completed with an air recon, so just pick what you like |

I tried to activate the Bunker defence system during bunker mission but did not know how. I just stood next to the blue post.
How do I activate each one? _________________ Clan N0TD on Bored Aussies....

in the bunker, you will see these blue "circles" that are on higher places only accessible by going up ramps. If you stand on these during the bunker mission, the turrets will be activated depending on which one you stand on. For example, if you stand on the most north eastern circle, then the turret near that circle will activate.
These turrets are useful in providing extra firepower which prevents us from getting overrun.
You only need to stand on em for a second or so. The turrets activate immediately. Usually a recon does this and a termi can as well due to the blink ability. _________________ Shaman of clan n0td - Bored Aussies
