To start the ball rolling, this is my comments based on last sat's game
Flare wall at wave 6 - half the team got decimated by surprise attack of mass gargoyles in the game. This isn't usually a problem, but it can be a safety measure since we're always playing with 5-6 people, lacking fp and hp.
Gather more newbies - we desperately need more people to play notd
Host more pub n2/so for those who are free please _________________ Combat Report

- What to do when you see Defilers/Lurkers/Devourers
Devourers: Kill them first because they kill in 2-3 hits
Lurkers: Get out of its spike range, THEN shoot it, it can't hurt you if you are out of the range
Defilers: Fire Burst/Shotgun it on sight and quickly Resonator it. Just one, no need for 3 people all using it together
When Fat comes together with them, just move:
1. Make sure you are far enough from fat
2. Kill quickly only the Devourers/Birds, obviously the people in front
3. If it is Defiler, resonator and move. Lurker, just move. _________________ Clan N0TD on Bored Aussies....

So we're back to where we were a month ago - in a way it's good today's wave 9 game was unique, haven't seen such an early fat before, 2 of them too
just for your info, what happens in this wave is we're SUPPOSED to get a mission, where we'll hold at the middle until the timer ends(~2min). there will be ~6-8 defilers and 2 hatchlings(only if mission triggered). that's what those ce around us are for. Problem is what we should do if those fats come early again during mission.
Ideas?
Oh another thing is still with the lack of players >.> Currently playing with termi instead of recon for more firepower since we only have 5 people. but for better games we really need a recon to find us items! _________________ Combat Report

Which direction can those fats come?
If they only come from left, demo can closely watch left and be ready to kill fats quickly on sight. _________________ Clan N0TD on Bored Aussies....

Seems like the wave 6 mission often screws us up because people go off 'reconning' or whatever. We need to just play safe for now and get through those parts, until we have mastered it. Stay with the team and don't suddenly run off or fall behind to get a tag or something.
Also, looks like our firepower is not effective enough. I think it is because the HS does not know what to shoot and forgets that he is the main shooter in the team. I notice that we get to wave 10~ more when Fingon is HS... so you know what I mean. _________________ Clan N0TD on Bored Aussies....

I was thinking about this too. Looks like we need do some training =D
ADD ON:
shan't spam the thread with my posts so I shall edit this latest post of mine
Since we're still relatively new to w8-w10, i suggest just before we enter mid area for w8, pause and brief everyone on what's going to happen, and what each class should do. Below is a list i came up with since lessons are so god damn boring.
Demo - upon entering area, demo should finish up on setting up walls for defilers and hatchlings.
Medic - stack medical items. Saves space when we're moving off later.
Heavy Support - provide firepower (duh). There will be Loki on w8 and levianthian on w9. Manual aim them - gotta make sure you're gunning them down. Also, demo will be busy looking out for incoming threats, so you MIGHT have to reso defilers popping from underneath. Check for demo's decision.
Firebat - There will be locusts which must either be burnt or shotgunned. Just make sure you burn them.
Recon - At start of w8, flare the 3 entrances to the mid area and designate any threats.
Upon entering mid area, everyone is to take fib and whatever sg there is. Please aid the demo in pinging when defi, hatches and fat are coming. But do not neglect your own area, as defiler may pop out any time.
At start of wave 9, team is to gather the items and be ready to move off. Items to take are in order - shotguns, Road flares, med items, reso and explosives. Please prioritize. Fuck stims, and av ain't that important either. For explosives, clays are less important than satchels and ce at that stage in game.
Squad leader is to decide on the route when shiva location is known but be flexible[/b] _________________ Combat Report

w9-w10 is giving us a huge problem. It is very difficult to determine when to leave the bunker as there are alot of defilers and abominations hanging around.
In that w14 game, we chose to blow the rocks knowing that all the fats werent dead yet and the wave had just started. The result was costly, losing our firebat.
We need to find a way to safely pass w9-w10. After that, the game's pace slows down and it is easier in comparison to the previous waves. _________________ Shaman of clan n0td - Bored Aussies

well my current plan is to do it the same way for advanced missions. Instead of gunning/blowing fats in the tunnel like we used to do, we leave quickly once timer's done, get shiva and move to beach. Shiva them at bridge, and set walls for incoming defi. _________________ Combat Report

I was thinking the same thing. Its very risky to stay in the escape hatch in the bunker. So i agree with fingon that we should leave the bunker once the mission is over, get the shiva, head to bridge and shiva the fats at bridge.
Another question i wanna ask, on w14, if the location of trinity and GDD is too far from beach, should we camp at a nearby base or still go back to beach? _________________ Shaman of clan n0td - Bored Aussies

A suggestion is to move to an area closer to centre - distance to every part of map gets averaged out, likelihood of returning to beach becomes higher. Left ramp of pool if we shiva-ed from below, or below beach if we shiva above.
Nevertheless, when we move off to get those shit, everyone should have packed themselves with the essential items, so moving to another base is possible if necessary. _________________ Combat Report

If we dont get bunker mission on w8, what should we do?
I wait at middle till w9 then leave the bunker and retrieve shiva. After that, I head back to beach and shiva the lyganesh at bridge.
What do you guys think? _________________ Shaman of clan n0td - Bored Aussies

Obvious thing we MUST do I think:
When we pass the beach on wave 6, drop the items at the beach quickly.
So after hatchling(s) are killed, quickly drop off road flares, medic items, etc.
This is because we will be needing them a lot when we are at the beach later, like that wave 14 game yesterday.
Report to Fingon:
Another Wave 14 game. Players: theonlyoz, Giga, Mroom, Keweil, S-Nubcake, RVN _________________ Clan N0TD on Bored Aussies....
