I have not played Terminator many times but a few things that I should point out:
- The Auto Cannon makes your shots explosive, like the Marksman's Canister, but it stays explosive until you turn it off or run out of mana. Each shot uses up mana.
- Use hotkey C to turn on and off Auto Cannon. No need to tell you... should be using hotkeys for everything anyway.
- A.C. is useful for killing dogs and nasty things that are far away from the team. Make sure you do turn on A.C. and then shoot a zombie next to team mate.... and kill them.... Aim at the dog first before you turn on A.C.
- Plasma discharge hurts the team... It also slows down enemies if it hits.
- Energy transfer is important for Terminator... one auto cannon spree drains up your mana fast
- Level 1 of A.C. is not bad, but it is not that strong. |

The few important steps for using AC -
1) Right click somewhere to move to a spot
2) While you're moving, turn on AC
3) Aim at target
4) Shift-right click to another spot before target dies so that you won't auto-target after target dies
5) Turn off AC
For high armour/hp targets, it's easier to just shoot at it and turn AC on. But if you're blowing greens or some lower hp creep, moving to a spot first is safer since you might gun it to death before you turn AC on (:
Anyway, lvl 1 AC is pretty weak, though it's useful to finish off a low hp fat. Lvl 3 Ac is just...imba

Terminator's plasma gun will not kill teammates at full hp but refrain from doing this unless the circumstances are very dire
