Some people sometimes want to switch their warcraft version from 1.24b (current BA version) to older version to watch replays, or for other reasons.
Here is a very fast way to do it, simple and fast.
1. Get version switcher program:
http://rapidshare.com/files/280480148/Warcraft-Version-Switcher.rar
Unrar it
2. Now to switch to 1.23 you need to download the data file for 1.23 and place this file (LEAVE THE FILE ZIPPED). Place it in the VersionSwitcher folder.
BA uses 1.24b so download 1.24b data file and place in the folder too, so you may switch back.

Download 1.24b data file: http://rapidshare.com/files/280465868/TFT_Version_1.24b.zip
Download 1.24c data file: http://www.mediafire.com/?mdnzmkxhygd
3. Now open VersionSwicher and click switch version , double click version to switch to.
Download replays and watch them.
If it says you do not have that map, just copy and rename your notd map to the required map file name.

Windows version switcher is buggy with Windows 7. So i did it the manual method by copy and pasting the files inside the data file to the warcraft 3 folder. It works too.

I am using Windows XP still so it works fine 
I just downloaded the zip file for 1.24c for the Version Switcher and added it to the folder... Now I can switch between 1.20, 1.21b, 1.23, 1.24, 1.24b AND 1.24c versions! |
